The 1980s had a real thing for nostalgia about the ’50s and ’60s. I seem to remember there were quite a few films like this, most of which I managed to avoid. This is one I didn’t. Clearly I was dragged along — if it is indeed possible to be dragged to a film starring Phoebe Cates.
