US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is reportedly preparing to deploy tactical teams to five more cities led by Democratic officials as protests against the agency's actions spread nationwide, according to a new report.
The ICE units, called Special Response Teams (SRTs) and known for their use of BearCat tracked vehicles and long guns, have been involved in high-risk operations, NBC News reported on Wednesday, June 11, citing sources.
According to the sources cited by NBC News, the ICE units are set to mobilize in Seattle, Chicago, Philadelphia, northern Virginia, and New York.
While the timing of the raids remains unclear, SRT units in these cities have been put on standby to deploy, NBC reports."

This channel has its claws in me with the SEPTA content. Here's another video I quite enjoyed about Regional Rail. I actually don't use it much, since the Broad Street lines, Frankford-Market lines, and driving gets me to where I need to go. (Though I wish there was a regional rail stop closer to my workplace so I wouldn't have to drive as much. 😑)
