I live in Brantford so I see his name EVERYWHERE. I think they need to change the name of Wayne Gretzky Blvd to Walter Gretzky Blvd. Or better yet, Phil Hartman Blvd.

Captain Carl is played by the late great Phil Hartman. He and Paul Reubens met while members of The Groundlings and later developed and starred in the club show version of “Pee Wee’s Playhouse” and the film “Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure”. Unfortunately, due to being hired by SNL he had to leave the tv show version of “Pee-Wee’s Playhouse” after the first few episodes of the first season. “Restaurant” is the final episode he worked on.
