На одном дереве есть борозды, и ученые долго не могли понять, что это. По всей видимости, там был термитник, и термиты проделали эти борозды в стволе.

Еще есть окаменелости динозавров - причем даже костный мозг виден. Деревья и кости сюда принесли реки и ледники.

Окаменелый лес La Leona. Конечно, "лес" это преувеличение - в реальности несколько десятков кусков деревьев. О возрасте пишут разное - от 65 до 150млн лет.
