Tonight: shut out at the Vanguard, so short stroll to the Stone. They had the shades drawn and the lights low and red, uncharacteristically vibey for an out there set from trumpeter Peter Evans in duo with percussionist extraordinaire Cyro Baptista. Not a bad consolation.
