Quentin Tarantino – „Jackie Brown“ (1997)

(ARTE)

I watched Training Day after seeing this review by Peter Bradshaw. Met expectations fully. 👌 Denzel is on fire here (probably his best performance?), so is Hawke and the movie is so tight from start to finish that I never felt like checking my phone in between.

I'm not surprised Peter Bradshaw is defending bad film reviews - he's the worst film critic. https://www.theguardian.com/film/2023/mar/09/good-film-reviews-bad-ones-seth-rogen

Sorry, Seth Rogen: good film reviews wouldn’t mean much if bad ones weren’t allowed

The actor has been complaining about the hurt that critics can deliver. But someone has to call out stinkers, as you would think he’d agree
