The album also known as “Howlin’ Wolf’s New Album” has a poor reputation among purists but, dammit, we have to count ourselves lucky to live in a universe where we have an album that featured both Pete Cosey *and* Hubert Sumlin.

And for the record, the Wolf was an enthusiastic adopter of the electric guitar.
