A ★★ review of Pet Sematary (2019)

Este remake/readaptación… sufre un curioso doble filo. Por un lado busca no calcar a la primera adaptación y manteniendo la premisa de la novela introduce una serie de cambios, uno muy gordo y significativo. Esto consigue que… bueno, efectivamente no sea un calco de lo ya hecho. El problema es que la cosa deriva tanto que da la sensación de estar viendo no una nueva adaptación de la novela sino de un fanfic AU, un What If? de manual en el que se cambia algo arbitrariamente pero luego las cosas siguen más o menos igual. No es un desastre total,
