We've decided to go with Jasper as our new friend's name.

According to his rescue records, he was left tied to the front door of a vet's office in Fresno with matted fur and signs of neglect. Don't know why they decided to move him to Oregon, but we're glad he's here.

Strangely, he's not motivated by food. He definitely wants affection. He loves walks and has yet to bark at anything.

So we made a heart decision today and brought this little guy home from the #petrescue.

Apparently he was abandoned tied to a pole, and it’s obvious he has some attachment issues. He’s scared of the Chuckit which makes it seem like he was hit with something.

He’s being a little cudddle bug as I’m typing this, so that’s a hopeful sign.

We’re waiting a couple days to get to know him to decide his new name.

It has been a month since Percy was rescued. He was originally found wandering the streets of Cynthiana, KY and transferred from a local shelter to one in Frankfort. He will have 3 separate shots for heartworm, and should be healthy from here on out. It looks like a long life for him in his forever home. ❤️
