MikePigeon Point Lighthouse, 5/18/2023. This 115-foot beauty in Pescadero, California is tied with Point Arena Lighthouse as the tallest lighthouse on the West Coast. At the time of our visit, the tower was closed for extensive repairs, but we were able to roam the grounds to view it. We easily could have spent all day there.

When I lived in The City and still road motorcycles, it use to be the "thing to do" to stop at Alice's to look at other bikes & to meet other riders but not necessarily eat there.
I have eaten there when it wasn't busy and never got sick there but this was back in the 80's when I hope their food handling was better.
After awhile, I still rolled by to see what was going on but Alice's simply got too busy/popular and I stopped going there and rode down to Pescadero via La Honda & Pescadero Ck Rds to eat at Duarte's Tavern instead, which is FAR BETTER than Alice's and then road back up to The City via Hwy 1.
