The nest is very visible, exposed. The djiti-djitis are very small and aggressive and I think they successfully keep the predators off.

It might be hard water in #PerthAU but powders here, even when apparently predissolved just before the was, leave lots of little white granules on the clothes.
Tried powders for too long, now with liquid.
And knowing that trucking all that water around because they don't formulate powders properly for here - just a waste of money and greenhouse gases.
