Was macht man bei der Hitze? In den Keller mit einem Buch. Nachdem ich "How to take smart notes" gelesen hatte, bin ich jetzt gerade bei "The 5 Elements of Effective Thinking". Das ist eines der Bücher, welches in dem anderen erwähnt wurde. Bin zur Hälfte durch und ich muss sagen, es ist echt interessant.

If you're using a PKM tool like Obsidian, Logseq, Roam Research, or Notion, at some point you've likely dealt with this: You have handwritten notes, journal pages, or sketched diagrams that exist only on paper, completely separate from your digital vault or graph.

How do you handle the integration?

📷 Scan and attach as images?
✍️ Manually transcribe into your system?
🤖 Use OCR tools?
🖊️ Switched to reMarkable or Supernote?

Share your workflow in the comments, curious how others in the PKM community are approaching this.

🗂️ The Day Cluster: Why I Use Multiple Daily Notes Instead of One

New post on neurodivergent-friendly PKM design:

- Separation of concerns (each note = one job)
- Zero decision fatigue (same structure daily)
- Visual navigation (links replace search)
- Progressive disclosure (start with 2 notes)

From overwhelmed single note → clear structure

The Day Cluster: Multiple Daily Notes That Reduce Friction Instead of Adding It

Most PKM systems use a single daily note. I tried that for years. Everything piled into one file: plans, logs, reflections, glucose data, AI analysis, tasks, links. Finding anything meant scrolling through hundreds of lines...

does anyone know of a read-it-later service that is both compatible with web and gemini (the protocol, not google's AI)? bonus points if it allows to create a note on Obsidian but at this point i think such a tool doesn't exist

boosts appreciated!

New on CTNET: AI PKM Framework Levels 1-2

Level 1 = Critical Refinement
Use AI summaries as starting points, never endpoints. Still engage with source material and write your own notes.

Level 2 = Socratic Interrogation
AI as thinking partner, not answer machine. Challenge assumptions, explore alternatives.

The red lines from Level 0 still apply.

New post: How do you know when your PKM is ready for AI?

The expertise paradox: you need cognitive skills to use AI effectively with PKM, but AI can undermine those very skills during development.

I've built five diagnostic questions and a readiness checklist to help you assess honestly whether you're ready for advanced AI integration—or need more time building foundations.

Why 2026 Is the Year to Build a Second Brain
The 2026 data flood is real. 🌊 If you aren't building a Second Brain, you're drowning in information you can't use.
With Agentic AI now able to "express intent" rather than just write code, your value lies in how you curate and connect ideas.
