About me as an Asian pop fan (covering all but kpop)

Bias groups/soloists: #Lykn #JeffSatur #SB19 #AlfredSun #Perses

Biases: Lego

I listen to a ton of kpop and other Asian pop music, and I can't bias all of them so how do I pick? My criteria:

Ult = love them the most, consider myself part of the fandom, would go to the concert and pay VIP, would consider travel to see them

Bias = I'm going to check out their new music when it drops, will go to concert

Kilwa, un témoignage de la grandeur de l’Afrique médiévale

La ville de Kilwa, située sur la côte sud-est de la Tanzanie, incarne l’un des chapitres les plus fascinants de l’histoire de l’océan Indien. Fondée

I'm running 13 regions, 16 opensearch clusters, 16 kafka clusters, 36 clickhouses, 40 victoria clusters, kuberneteses and bare metal, I manage thousands of alerts and thousands of grafana dashboards and logs and metrics and traces of over a million endpoints and:

I did not manage to make one single data source with a successful promql query work in #perses

After an hour(!), I gave up. I'm clearly too stupid for this.

Telemetry collection and storage are standardized. But visualization? Still a missing piece. ☆ミ

That’s where Perses comes in, filling the gap with dashboards-as-code, validation, and GitOps-ready workflows.

Tracing in Jaeger, metrics in Prometheus, logs with Fluent Bit… where do dashboards fit into this observability flow?
(⊙_☉)

Eric D. Schabell maps it out in the 7-minute 🌩️ Thunder episode:

What if your dashboards could fit into the same GitOps and CI/CD workflows you already use? ☆

Eric D. Schabell shares how Perses makes this possible in 🌩️ Thunder: https://youtu.be/jx7JeZdJESo

What does it mean for a CNCF project to call itself an exploration?
(・・?)

Eric D. Schabell explains how Perses is defining an open standard for observability dashboards: dashboards as code, validation, GitOps-friendly workflows, and more.

If observability dashboards matter, they deserve to be treated like code.

That means version control, validation, repeatability... the whole kit and caboodle. Perses is a CNCF project that makes dashboards GitOps-friendly from the start, so they’re no longer fragile, ad-hoc artifacts that vanish when you need them most.
