Seems like a good time to mention that any device that tracks your temperature and/or resting heart rate is a period tracker. Your FitBit would know whether you were pregnant, even with cycle tracking turned off.

@andytiedye OMG I WONDER IF THIS IS WHY I GOT SIGNED UP FOR CARTERS.COM EMAIL LIST.

Sorry for shouting but I’ve been thinking about it for a few days now and I don’t know why I didn’t make the connection before.

Last week I got an email directly to me thanking me for signing up for carters.com blog and coupons. Those are baby clothes.

I haven’t had a period since September because I’m old, a couple months after the period tracker on my iPhone asked me if I was forgetting to log my period and I said no and I was sad because all the predictive days went away.

Last week it asked me again and I just closed it out. And that was right around 120 days after my last period started, so technically I would been four months long if I was pregnant.

IS THIS WHAT IS HAPPENING??

The only reason this doesn’t make sense to me is because I put my real birthday in my Apple ID years ago when I got my first iPod or whatever. It knows I am 51 years old. But the email address I used with my Apple ID is the email address that signed up for baby clothes emails.
