I applaud Yujin's move to shorter hair. Kpop idols can look so chic in bobs or with their hair up, even though these styles rule out a lot of hairography.

It's also reassuring to me that I find Yujin's new look so attractive whilst at the same being being not only disappointed but positively repelled by IVE's most recent comeback, "Baddie".

Why reassuring? Because although the relationship between what we hear and what we see in music performance is complex and full of unresolved questions, at a crude level it's good to know that my liking a certain song is not completely determined by how attractive I find the perfomers.
