After reading Akata Warrior by Nnedi Okorafor I desperately wanted to try it. I went the easy route and purchased the spice mix (Walmart online) and had to use lemon zest instead of lemongrass (looked for it at several stores). The broth leads with a spicy kick that I thought was going to light me up, but instead the heat leaves and a nutty, lemony flavor remains. I am a huge fan! #Nigeria #Soup #PepperSoup #Spice
