The annual Newport Folk Festival kicked off on Friday. Many festival attendees ride their bikes to the festival to promote reducing carbon emissions. Jeff Gorman, who is part of the rock duo Illiterate Light, joins CBS News to share his experience biking 700 miles to the festival.

Once Pixelfed and Loops become mainstream, with a solid team, I can step back.
Social media is important, and I'm building a solid foundation, but long term, the community deserves to have more control over the project.
The non-profit organization I'm building is a testament to that.
I never wanted to be a BDFL, I just like building things. I can't wait to have time to explore my other hobbies.
