In all the discussion and discourse about #Frankenstien, I feel bad that nothing is said about the #PennyDreadful inclusion. Yes, Victor and the creature are part of a monster mash, and intersecting with other characters. BUT, it is still an interesting interpretation of Mary's work.
Esp with the interpretation of "the bride". With a history before death, and a direction after.
As much as I'd like to I haven't been able to catch the new Frankenstein movie in the theater, so I'm comforting myself by rewatching Penny Dreadful. Rory Kinnear's portrayal of the "Monster" is a fav of mine. And I just love the whole series.
