Commission for a family friend. The colour palette was a challenge: purple on green. I think I pulled it off, though the medium did not quite allow me to do as vibrant a purple as I maybe could have, to further the challenge. With paint or paint pens, I think I could do better these days.

10 months later (instead of 100 days), I am finally done with this project. I ended up doing 50 bugs instead of 100, and went well over the 100 day limit I had set, but I'm still really happy it's done. I still did way more art than ... well, ever.

I decided to cap my bug drawings at 50, and then I'm going to do Birbfest next in this tiny sketch book. I'm bored of drawing bugs, 100 was way too big of a number to jump right into when I have(had) zero experience with daily drawing. Bring on the birds! Oh, and here's bug #49
