PECHINO (CINA) (XINHUA/ITALPRESS) – La Cina sta ampliando costantemente l'apertura del settore delle telecomunicazioni: ieri, il ministero dell'Industria e della Tecnologia dell'Informazione ha dichiarato che 166 imprese a capitale estero hanno ottenuto le autorizzazioni per lo svolgimento di operazioni pilota nel campo dei servizi di telecomunicazione a valore aggiunto, da quando, nel febbraio 2025, è stata rilasciata la prima serie di autorizzazioni di questo tipo.Queste imprese possono fornire legalmente servizi di telecomunicazione a valore aggiunto in tutta la Cina, compresi servizi di Internet data center, servizi di accesso a Internet e servizi informativi.Sulla base delle politiche già esistenti, tra cui l'impegno della Cina nell'ambito dell'OMC, i regolamenti delle zone pilota di libero scambio e le politiche per un'ulteriore apertura del settore dei servizi, il ministero si è allineato in modo proattivo alle norme economiche e commerciali internazionali ad alto standard, avviando trial in quattro località – Pechino, Shanghai, Hainan e Shenzhen – per rimuovere i limiti alla partecipazione estera nei servizi di telecomunicazione a valore aggiunto, come gli Internet data center.In tutta la Cina operano più di 3.100 imprese di telecomunicazioni a capitale estero. PEKIN (CHINA) (XINHUA/ITALPRESS) – China is constantly expanding the opening of the telecommunications sector: yesterday, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced that 166 foreign-funded enterprises have obtained authorization to conduct pilot operations in the field of value-added telecommunications services, since the first series of authorizations of this type were issued in February 2025. These companies can legally provide value-added telecommunications services throughout China, including data center internet services, internet access services and information services. Based on existing policies, including China’s commitment within the WTO, the regulations of the free trade pilot zones and policies for further opening of the services sector, the ministry proactively aligned with international high-standard economic and trade rules, launching trials in four locations – Beijing, Shanghai, Hainan and Shenzhen – to remove barriers to foreign participation in value-added telecommunications services, such as internet data centers. More than 3,100 foreign-funded telecommunications companies operate throughout China. These companies will offer Chinese consumers a wider range of telecommunications services and products, further promoting the development of an open and dynamic market ecosystem, the ministry observed. China launches a global partnership against poverty and for development.

PEKIN (CHINA) (XINHUA/ITALPRESS) – The Global Partnership for Poverty Reduction and Development (GPPAD) was officially established yesterday during the World Forum on Poverty Reduction and Development 2026, currently taking place in Beijing, according to an announcement made during the event.
Promoted jointly by China, 53 other countries and nine international organizations, the GPPAD represents a key step in global efforts to reduce poverty, the announcement stated.
Encouraging members to pursue poverty reduction and development strategies appropriate to their specific conditions, the GPPAD will promote the exchange of experiences in poverty reduction and governance, and jointly explore pathways to eradicate poverty at its roots, according to the announcement.
The partnership welcomes the participation of governments, international organizations, the private sector, academia and the media, with the aim of jointly promoting a fair, inclusive, non-discriminatory and sustainable development environment, the announcement reported.
Speaking at the forum on the same day, Chinese Vice Premier Liu Guozhong stated that China will actively support the GPPAD in strengthening political dialogue, technical demonstrations and talent training, helping developing countries to further enhance their capabilities in poverty reduction.
