My favorite pedal ever was the memory man from like the 80s or early 90s. The big boxy one. It would self oscillate and you could change the frequency making it essentially a noise synth. I think my misuses of the product led to it making a loud buzz that I could never quite eq out or ground out. Sadly it's become too perturbing to me that I've moved onto the Avalanche Run and use it quite differently. #noise #pedals
