The Pedal to Empower 2024 event is a wrap. I finished the 250 mile ride yesterday afternoon after 16 hours in the saddle. My folks came down to provide support and a delicious lasagna post-ride meal. My fundraiser brought in $2,553 of the $4,125 goal, but it's open for the rest of the day. 🤞🏼

I’m starting the 250 mile effort this Saturday at 2100 PDT with all my blinky lights on. With any luck, I’ll finish at 1400 PDT Sunday afternoon. I’m thrilled to join @World Bicycle Relief for its annual ride as we Pedal to Empower girls like Dilshani with life-changing bicycles. In 2005, Dilshani received one of the first Buffalo Bicycles in Sri Lanka after the Indian Ocean Tsunami. With her bike, Dilshani finished school and trained as a nurse.
