ednl 🇪🇺I went for a walk yesterday in Zeeland and saw LOTS of caterpillars on the road at a certain point. Luckily there was little to no car traffic there. Most were black with spikes, those will become peacock butterflies (Aglais io, 🇳🇱 dagpauwoog). But I also saw a HUGE green one of the hawk-moth (Agrius convolvuli, 🇳🇱 windepijlstaart). Apparently those are rare in NL.
