I'm so sick of internet paywalls that I keep a tab open on all my internet-connected devices to THIS URL: https://removepaywalls.com/
Then I habitually copy and paste every URL into it instead of having to guess which ones are going to block me and which are not.
A little extra work for a lot of satisfaction.

https://fmhy.net/audio has alternative clients for #Spotify / Deezer / #YouTube which can bypass the ads / #Paywalls. Morphe is a good app for now for #android to patch the original apps to be free. on iOS, your choices are limited. Spotify is much harder to patch than YouTube Music and risks banning of your acc, so I would go YTM route.

In lieu of that, its frankly easier to just download the music you listen to and keep it physically on your device. For that, Soulseek is truly the best thing. Though, I caution you to avoid the chatrooms, theyre often quite abusive (no moderation). Beyond that, the platform is indispensible for music #piracy.

It doesn't require a VPN, either, as the platform seems pretty much unknown to ISPs (and its kind of hard to easily track to the same extent, and there isnt really an easy way to honeypot on SLSK like with torrents).

For soulseek, you have the official client (SoulseekQT), Nicotine+, and Seeker for android. I recommend Nicotine+ unless you have issues, then fallback to SoulseekQT.

Brilliant idea for all the fucking news sites and journalism blogs that ALL want you to pay each of them $10+ a month to read the ONE article you're interested in... make it like a webcomic reading app instead. Pay $10 for 100 credits, each article can be purchased for 10 credits. Someone wants to read more than 10 articles? Then they purchase more credits.
I would bet my house you'd have so, so, so so many people willing to try this option rather than put themselves on the hook for dozens if not hundreds of dollars EVERY MONTH just to read one or two articles per month.

Archive.today https://archive.is/ is useful to be able to read news articles that are behind paywalls once the webpage is archived. It's easy to use. Just copy and paste the URL into the the search.
