As usual, Benn Jordan is spot on in this takedown of Spotify/streaming services. The bottom line is, they don't work. If you want to support music (or any art), the answer is give money directly to those artists, one way or another. Patreon, Bandcamp, KoFI-- hell find out the Venmo of the guy who makes the gifs you like and send him $10 for being awesome.
