Just finished watching #PaulTGoldman and... I really didn't like it.
The most interesting aspect got mostly ignored: what was director Jason Woliner trying to accomplish here? He becomes part of the series and his shifting motivations and techniques are much more interesting than Goldman's character or creative efforts. Dwelling in the competing creative impulses between these two guys who are obsessively creating these long-form series would have been much more compelling than just presenting (and undercutting) Goldman's perspectives and creative works. I've read some interviews with Woliner that are more interesting than anything in the series! That should've been brought to the screen.
