Ice warriors are on my Top List of Doctor Who non-human alien intelligent species. They have that old-school flavour i love so much.

This tale is, for me,a real gift. And the way it ends..OH YES! Is a promise of more martian greatness!

The story itself? Has a good bunch of...surprises, let's say. Good story, enjoyable. And with unexpected nice things.

If the planet the 8th Doctor vists was called "Poe" would even excessive. Is one of those stories that, if you understand all the references is a very entertaining tale.

And i was entertained. Is a good story.

Oh, yes. Tamsin. After so many adventures with Lucie feels a bit weird. But i think she's good. Not the best, but good and a very special companion.

The way this tale begins is a needed lighter thing after the last one. Fun, even hilarious..and with a satyrical volume shredding every way of measure that

And then, well,we end in a typical whovian catastrophic trouble.

Which is something to enjoy.
