#TuneTuesday goes #HotHotHot, songs with "Hot" in the title.

"Bubblin' hot" - Pato Banton with Ranking Roger

Birmingham's finest toaster had been in The Beat, but drifted out of the hit parade afterwards. Then he made a big breakthrough, "Baby come back" hit number one.

"Bubblin' hot" came out a few months later, as catchy as anything. Here's the geezers promoting the tune on MTV.

For 26 July, #TOTP moved to BBC2, so that the main channel could show some of the many successes at the Atlanta Sports Event. Lisa I'Anson is the host.

"Groovin'" from Pato Banton, a rather disposable cover from the Birmingham toaster. Glad to see that he's still doing his thing in the area.

Never Give In

Prior to tonight, as a non-religious practitioner, I’d have never thought that I’d end up in a post-concert, parking lot prayer circle led by the great Pato Banton.

Now, I can’t call myself a convert, but the guy was really cool to meet.

Concert footage coming soonish.
