I watched #PathsOfGlory by #StanleyKubrick today. A great #film. A good antidote to the overlong films of today.

It made me quite happy that even though all the characters were French, no native English-speaker did a an #accent It is a convention that makes no sense.

Afterwards I read a bit about the #movie and discovered that quite a lot of critics were unhappy with the lack of French-accents.

Of course this applies to every single accent. If the characters are supposed to be speaking German they shouldn't be speaking English with an accent. No.

Stop it. Bad #Hollywood.
