Been playing through Chapter 2 of Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. I had the difficulty set on very low because I just don't have time to replay things. I barely have time to play such a heavy game anyway, but I wasn't using like any of my fun abilities. I fought a meaty boss monster and it took like two rounds and no one even really got injured. After I cranked the difficulty up a bit, I fought two Vrocks (bigger demons) and they were really tough, but in a good way! One character got injured and I got to use a bunch of fun abilities and spells.
I think the biggest problem was that I had the "enemies can use special abilities" option off, so I was missing a lot of uniqueness in different combats.
Here's to hoping it doesn't bog down my playthrough.
