Now our Senate voting process has a arbitrary, obtuse call to number at least 6 parties above the line.

They could have done this while retaining #PartyPreferences, but they didn't because anyone who looks at how preferences flow will tell you that numbering only 6 parties will steer votes towards the two #majorParties.

The #forcedNews media are trained not to draw attention to things like that.

Divide the peoples' #votes for minor parties — and rule.

Party preference tickets were abolished in #Australia after the 2013 #election, in which a #workingClass gentleman, named #RickyMuir was elected.

There was nothing particularly bad about Ricky — like there was nothing bad about parties preferences. The big problem with publicly available #PartyPreferences is that:

a) they required majorParties to talk to minorParties,

b) forced majorParties to publicly rank parties (though vote splitting was possible),

c) they're not entirely predictable…1/2

WARNING: #Elections in #SouthAustralia rigged against #minorParties.

They've had 4 yrs to fix this. Noone at the #ElectoralCommision (#ECSA) has fixed #misleading instructions that caused 70,000 #votes for minorParties to be binned.

If you vote for a #minorParty you *must* number as many above-the-line as possible. Following their top instruction and numbering one party, means your vote is #wasted if that party doesn't get in.

One of the #corporateMedia's reasons for existing is to turn #Australia into a polarised country with #twoTribes at war – Liberal and Labor.

Over time they've lampooned #thirdParties, into non-existence (see the emotionally driven attacks on #RickyMuir (2015) that saw a perfectly sound, *and revealing* #PartyPreferences method of #voting get abolished! Also attacks on #AustralianDemocrats (late 90s) who were secured important concessions to the #GST, that everyone benefits from today), or…(1/2)
