- help protect our river environment and its wildlife
When this happens, it's usually because the owner only shared it with a small group of people, changed who can see it or it's been deleted.

Wildlife who reside along the Maribyrnong River Trail are dying. This Dusky Moorhen death is in addition to the deaths of 3 swans due to fishing hooks and line in the last 4 weeks.

These are devastating losses that are preventable.

Please don’t leave discarded rubbish, including fishing hooks and line lying around our river and its banks.

A call out to Footscray Park visitors to protect our park’s wildlife and river environs.

Discarded fishing line, hooks, litter and pollution are causing real harm.

We’ve lost 5 of 7 swans and cygnets that call our park and the Maribyrnong river and its banks home. This is devastating!

If you fish, please
