Exciting news for the coming year, Cheney Pool is going to sell season passes - family and individual - along with all their other options. For the holiday season they are on sale with early bird prices – $200 for a family pass if you are a Cheney resident, $260 non-resident.
#CheneyCityCouncil meeting tonight! Normally it would be on the second Tuesday of the month (yesterday) but due to the Veterans Day holiday it was moved to tonight. Additionally, the #ParkBoard would normally meet tonight but was also moved to next week Wednesday to accommodate this shuffle.
#CheneyWA #ParkBoard meets tonight at 6pm at the Aquatic Center. This meeting is open to the public and you can attend in person or on Zoom.

A quick and dirty suggestion for the cash-strapped #Vancouver #ParkBoard:
Speed cameras on Stanley Park Drive’s Prospect Point. From the report on the removal of the bike lane there, speeding is way up. From frequent rides, it's that hill where the majority of the speeding occurs.
To think really big, PB could make the fines proportional to the weight of the speeding vehicle.
This is win-win: the park is safer for everyone if motorists slow down, if not, PB money woes are over.
