Another example of a #parhelion spotted in Hillsboro #Oregon while I was working there in the first half of this decade. This is not the fullest or most complex one I saw while I was there but it is a very well-defined one at least.Another example of a parhelion spotted in Hillsboro while I was working there in the first half of this decade. This is not the fullest or most complex one I saw while I was there but at least it has two very well-defined sundogs. The most impressive ones had four sundogs in a cross pattern and lines and bows between them; this one just has a faint halo.
Also, I found a whole bunch more material from my series "Nuages" including a bunch of untitled stuff I forgot I had. I must have taken thousands of photos with perhaps a hundred or more really outstanding images.

I know sundogs aren't rare but this one was so bright and distinct that I had to get a picture. The sky was wild today before the storm or maybe leading up to Armageddon, I don't know which, but there was a big sun halo this morning and not long after I took this picture the sundog disappeared and there was a partial rainbow arc above the sun.
Along with the sundog I think we're also looking at a small fallstreak cloud here. #AtmosphericPhenomena #sundog #parhelion #sky #weather #pennsylvania
