The last stop while interrailing through Switzerland was actually in Italy: the small and beautiful town called Tirano right across the Swiss-Italian border.
We started midday in Davos, had a longer pause in St. Moritz to discover the town and finally took the Bernina Express towards Italy.
After two nights in Tirano we went home via Milan.

Another "Interrailing through Switzerland" post: a long trip awaited me on Friday: I took the Glacier Express from Zermatt via Brig, Andermatt, Disentis/Mustér and Chur to Tiefencastel, changed to regional trains and ended up in Davos where I stayed for another two nights.

The ride on the Glacier Express was comfy and often scenic, but sadly the fog around the Oberalppass prevented me from taking pictures.

At Davos I tried cross-country skiing, which I havent't done since being a small child. After roughly 10 kilometers I felt my aching muscles but had lots of fun!
Of course there was also time for some winter hiking.

The #Interrail journey through #Switzerland continued with a rather short trip from #Montreux to #Zermatt where I stayed for another two nights.

There was enough time for some #Winter #Hiking around #Täsch and Zermatt as well as a trip to the #Gornergrat with the #GornergratRailway. Although I lost my return ticket at the peak and had to rebuy to get back to Zermatt I had a fantastic time!

The stunning view towards the #Matterhorn is something else to remember 😎.

On my second #Interrail travel day I took trains
from Zurich to Lucerne, to Interlaken and finally ended the day in #Montreux where I stayed for another two nights.

The combination of alpine and mediterranean flair is awesome!
