Hi all, sorry I have not posted recently. Last Friday was a horrific day and I’ve only just felt like normality is coming back.
While attempting to get the kids from school during #StormBabet we got caught in a flash flood and lost our little car. We were rescued by tractor and the kids thankfully collected by a friend until we could reach them the next day.
The incredible kindness of strangers was the one positive thing I will never forget.

Hace solo un par de meses que el FIAT Panda cumplió cuatro décadas en el mercado. La firma italiana decidió rendir homenaje a tan importante modelo, y ahora Niels van Roij también se ha sumado a esta iniciativa. El holandés ha ido un paso más lejos refinando considerablemente el apreciado utilitario todoterreno, con un precio que te pensarás muy seriamente.
Turns out, you shouldn't rely too much on documentation. The power cables to retrofit a radio ware NOT switched by the ignition, but are connected directly to the battery instead.
Now I have to rework my wiring harness and somehow make it ignition switched.
Also, the speaker case doesn't fit on the left side, it's a centimeter or so too large.
In other #Panda #restoration news: the inside still looks a bit wild. 😅 Progress, unfortunately, is the part you don't see. Like the new wiring harness for the radio that runs to the left of the seat. You can't see it, because it's done and installed. 😁
