#DownhillSkiing #Tahoe

I don't #ski anymore but people have always died while skiing at #Northstar. Don't know what it is about Northstar but that's always been an issue & now that it's connected with #SquawValley #Pallisades, I expect that more people will be reported dying because of wanting to test themselves on the extreme terrain that exists between the 2 resorts.

I was only a groomed slope skier & I mainly skied at #Heavenly because of all of the available blue runs there which was all that I cared to do &, although I've hurt myself on the slopes a couple of times, I'm still alive.

I'm not religious but you can thank any deity that you like for that. Personally, I thank my generally "good sense" as well as a bit of luck. πŸ˜‰

Just as I thank my #LuckyStars for never dying (but also sometimes getting injured) all of those years that I road a motorcycle but, likewise, don't do anymore at my advanced age. 😊

It's a wonder that I made it to 75. LOL!!! 😎

I offered to take a family's picture and they offered to take mine in exchange. I took a couple family shots today. Skiing was excellent but Granite Chief was full of huge moguls. So no line if you dare! #Pallisades #laketahoe Lots of light on this #solstice day. #enjoywhatisbeautiful
