My nemesis bird, the Pale-headed Rosella.
Extremely flighty, this one was approx 20m or so away, and still very nervous.
They usually hang around in pairs (and yes, there was a second, much closer, but hidden from me until it flew off).

A pair of my local parrots I saw while checking the mail at lunchtime today.
A Pale-headed Rosella (one of a pair that took off as I approached); and an Australian King Parrot (male) who watched me as I walked back up the driveway.

The Rosellas (there were two) were hidden in a tree and not inclined to come out (usually they fly off if I get within 20m of them).
The somewhat flighty Pale-headed Rosella. These fellows really don't like having their photo taken and usually scarper as soon as you get within 20m of them.
Also a cockatoo looking very pleased with itself in a patch of sun, and one of the elusive and camera shy Pale-headed Rosellas.
