A combination of heavy rain and rapid snowmelt has triggered a significant rise in river levels across Upper #Franconia, Swabia, and the Upper #Palatinate. With the HND recording third-level alerts at several key stations, authorities have issued warnings for built-up areas, particularly in the districts of #Cham, #Coburg, and #Kronach

Yesterday I climbed on top of the "Vorderer Langenberg" in the #Pfälzerwald (#Palatinate Forest) here in #Germany for a combined #SOTA #POTA #WWFF activation. I didn't expect much traffic around noon, but then ended up having a pile-up so high, I had to apply priorisation techniques to get everybody through 😵‍💫

I only stopped after 88 QSOs in 90 minutes because I was planning to activate more parks in France later that day.
