According to a report by the Pakistan Statistical Institute, Pakistanis spent over 150 billion on tea imports in the first 10 months of this financial year, a 17 per cent increase from the same period last year. A total of 219,066 tons of tea were imported, up 15 per cent from the 190,830 tons imported in the same period last year. However, tea imports dropped by 10 per cent in April 2024 compared to March 2024.
