There were 3D printed Marvin cupcake toppers at @suvidu's and @Tobi_k's garden party (I thought it was sugar and took a bite. Mistake).
I took my little guy home, gave him a base and painted him.

Not his canonically colours, of course. 😊

Mixed everything I wanted. NMM, OSL, shifter paint... Just a wild ride! 😁

First test of my cheapo Airbrush.
Zenithaled the Mimic. Paint was way too thin, but the brush behaved okay.
But! Nearly impossible to clean, because it's so cheaply build, all the plastic parts are kind of wonky and all the metal parts need violence to part from each other and to reassemble.
I will use it as a learning experience, though, until it won't reassemble again. 😊

This is the funniest reverse pink tax ever!
This cheapo Airbrush set is available in pink or black. It's identical except for the colour.
But the pink one is five Euro less and comes in a box labeled "Beauty Airbrush Set".
Of course I took the pink one. 🐙😁

And now let's see if I like it.

View from a different angle.
This model is so pretty. Beautiful as Fulgrim should be.
I hate how Games Workshop always makes buttugly Emperor's Children minis, when a lot of them (their Primarch first and foremost) are clearly and constantly described as hauntingly beautiful.
So talented 3rd party sculptors fille that gap, but get shot down by GW quickly. Sad face.

I tried drilling barrels for the first time.
@suvidu, master handywoman she is, showed me how to do it yesterday, and today I drilled four bolters, one a storm bolter, and only ruined one (kinda, I think I can fix it with paint).

I am not drilling all the way down to avoid accidents. Just enough to have a hole.

Still a lot of practice needed to get it centred, but I am happily making progress.

I started on this month's Mini of the Month, Karl the khornite Cultist.
He gets a kind of Tim Burtonesque base and I am still thinking about a maximum reduced colour scheme.
