Went to new peer group for peri/menopause last night. It was good, but had a bad pain night and only slept for a few minutes. And youngest needs my help this morning, so I’ve not gone to the other new group, which I was looking forward to, but nevermind.

I'm more concerned about kids thinking I'm cool and little old ladies thinking I'm kind and have good taste in musicals and canes, than worrying about what most of my peers have to say about me.

I think I've always been like this, but it's intensified as I've become more disabled.

Have lost track of the days cos of #painsomnia but here's a few things I've managed to do recently:

Weeding tool arrived, so I've hooked out unwanted plants in the raised bed & used solar power (heatwave) to destroy them.

Created a hedgehog and/or other wildlife watering hole by putting on the patio my least presentable ceramic pasta bowl.

First harvest: cut chives for potato salad - tasty.

Held off planting out my seedlings cos of said heatwave: they're hanging in there:
