😫Embrace it (for worst case scenarios only)

Anyone out there on Palexia (Tapentadol)? I’ve been on it about 7 years, 100mg twice a day, but my pain has been getting steadily worse. I’m seeing my GP tomorrow to discuss options but wondered if anyone had helpful info.
I gave in and went off both my #SleepingPill ( #ChronicInsomniac ) and my #AntiAnxiety medication so that the #PainClinic would give me #PainMeds for my excruciating #BackPain ( #DegenerativeDiscDisease )
They did absolutely NOTHING to help me today. I had to take a #UA and just hope that I've been off my other #meds long enough that I'll test clean, because I have to wait TWO WEEKS for the results. If they're not out of my system, I'll have to do another UA and wait ANOTHER two weeks before they'll give me anything to help with the #ChronicPain
I also need two #SteroidInjections in my right hip for #bursitis and my left SI joint for a possible #dislocation, and to rule it out as the cause of my lowest back pain, but I have to wait for #medicaid to approve them before I can even maie an appointment, so it could be a month or more before I get in for those.
I'm very frustrated. I start #PhysicalTherapy on 12/16 and if I don't have pain meds by then, I'm barely going to be able to do anything. As it is, right now, I'm effectively #bedridden from back pain. I only get up to use the bathroom and occasionally grab something from the kitchen that doesn't require any preparation.
