I went to the gym for the first time in a week. Thankfully, my over-tight neck eased up during the break, and I wasn't in pain while training. What a relief. I tested my mobility. I almost have my normal range of motion in my right arm which is a huge improvement to last week when I couldn't raise it much higher than 90 degrees. My neck has been ridiculously tight for a couple of weeks despite all the physio, massage, and stretching. Right where my whiplash injury happened 25 years ago. But last night, while sitting on the chesterfield, something went SNAP in there, and now it's vastly improved. My range of motion in my right arm is much better. I don't know what snapped or why it did, and I don't know why it helped, but it did. @Knightky says the huge knot that was in my traps is also mostly gone.
