Il Fatto Quotidiano: “Il TSO di mio figlio Achille è stato il momento più brutto della mia vita. Sembrava indiavolato, dovevano fargli la puntura per calmarlo”: parla Billy Costacurta
Prima Martina Colombari a “Ballando con le stelle“, poi lo stesso figlio Achille al podcast “One More Time” di Luca Casadei, poi Billy Costacurta notoriamente restio a parlare dei fatti intimi di famiglia proprio a Casadei ha raccontato il suo punto di vista su uno degli episodi più dolorosi della sua vita: i problemi di salute mentale di Achille.
“Chi ha fatto il TSO sa di che cosa parlo, è un momento pazzesco. – ha detto Costacurta al podcast -. È uno dei momenti più brutti per un genitore. Io lo ricordo come il momento più brutto della mia vita, quello in cui io lascio Achille all’ospedale per un TSO, quando gli devono fare una puntura per calmarlo perché lui sembrava indiavolato. Sono stati momenti che poi ci hanno costretto veramente a tirar fuori delle energie pazzesche”.
E ancora: “Ogni tanto lo dicevo a Martina, ‘Marti io non ce la faccio, perdonami, non riesco ad entrare in ospedale e vederlo là’. Lei ogni giorno entrava. Io nei momenti più difficili, ogni tanto non riuscivo a vederlo”.
Lo stesso Achille aveva raccontato, sempre a Casadei: “Ho iniziato a fumare a 13 anni. Al compleanno dei miei 18 anni ho provato la mescalina. Una volta ho avuto una colluttazione con la polizia. Ero sotto effetto e ho fatto il matto su un taxi. Il poliziotto arriva, mi tira un pugno in faccia, io ero allucinato quindi l’ho spaccato di legnate. Lì dopo poco mi fanno il primo Tso, me ne hanno fatti sette. Il problema era che, quando me l’hanno fatto a Padova, perfetti, gentilissimi, a Milano mi hanno legato al letto per tre giorni perché gli ho dato un colpo sulla spalla. Urlavo che mi serviva il pappagallo, io ero legato, mani e piedi, tutto, e mi dovevo fare la pipì addosso”.

Prima Martina Colombari on “Ballando con le stelle”, then her son Achille on Luca Casadei’s podcast “One More Time”, then Billy Costacurta notoriously reluctant to talk about family intimate matters, especially to Casadei, recounted his perspective on one of the most painful episodes of his life: Achille’s mental health problems.
“Anyone who’s done a TSO (therapeutic sedation order) knows what I’m talking about; it’s a crazy moment. – Costacurta said on the podcast -. It’s one of the worst moments for a parent. I remember it as the worst moment of my life, the moment I left Achille in the hospital for a TSO, when they were going to inject him to calm him down because he seemed enraged. There were moments that then really forced us to pull out crazy amounts of energy.”
And still: “I used to tell Martina all the time, ‘Marti, I can’t do this, forgive me, I couldn’t get to the hospital and see him there.’ She would come in every day. In the most difficult moments, I sometimes couldn’t see him.”
Achille himself had also recounted, always to Casadei: “I started smoking at 13 years old. At the birthday of my 18th birthday, I tried mescaline. Once, I had a fight with the police. I was under the influence and went crazy on a taxi. The police officer came, hit me in the face, I was hallucinated so I beat him with a series of punches. Shortly after, they gave me the first TSO, they did seven of them. The problem was that when they did it in Padua, they were perfect, very kind, but in Milan they tied me to the bed for three days because I hit him on the shoulder. I kept yelling that I needed to go to the bathroom, I was tied up, hands and feet, everything, and I had to pee on myself.”
