Roma, 3 giu. (Adnkronos) - “Il Foro Italico si conferma sempre più come una straordinaria cittadella dello sport internazionale, capace di ospitare nello stesso momento eventi di altissimo livello come il World Taekwondo Roma Grand Prix, il Bnl Italy Major Premier Padel e il Golden Gala”. Così Diego Nepi, amministratore delegato di Sport e Salute, in occasione della conferenza stampa di presentazione del World Taekwondo Grand Prix al via da domani al Foro Italico.
“È la dimostrazione di una visione vincente - sottolinea ancora Nepi - fondata su impianti polifunzionali e adattabili a discipline diverse, che consentono di ampliare l'offerta sportiva e di generare importanti ricadute per il turismo e l'economia del territorio. In questo contesto il Roma Grand Prix rappresenta un appuntamento di assoluto prestigio, con centinaia di atleti provenienti da tutto il mondo. Accanto ai grandi campioni, però, voglio sottolineare il valore del Torneo Kim e Liù, il più importante evento giovanile europeo della disciplina, che porterà al Foro Italico oltre 1.800 bambine e bambini. È qui che si costruisce il futuro”, sottolinea l'ad di Sport e Salute.
“Un ringraziamento particolare va alla Fita per il lavoro che svolge non solo nella promozione dell'attività agonistica, ma anche sul piano sociale e umanitario. Le iniziative sviluppate insieme alla Taekwondo Humanitarian Foundation, al Governo italiano e al Ministro per lo Sport e i Giovani dimostrano, ancora una volta, come lo sport possa essere un autentico ponte tra popoli e culture, offrendo opportunità concrete a chi vive situazioni di difficoltà. Le storie degli atleti rifugiati accolti in Italia - conclude Nepi - e la partecipazione delle giovani ragazze provenienti dal campo di Azraq rappresentano un messaggio di speranza, inclusione e pace che dà al taekwondo un valore che va ben oltre la competizione sportiva”.

Rome, June 3 (Adnkronos) - “The Foro Italico continues to confirm itself as an extraordinary international sporting citadel, capable of hosting events of the highest level simultaneously, such as the World Taekwondo Rome Grand Prix, the Bnl Italy Major Premier Padel, and the Golden Gala.” This is according to Diego Nepi, CEO of Sport e Salute, during the press conference to present the World Taekwondo Grand Prix, which begins tomorrow at the Foro Italico.
“It is a demonstration of a winning vision – Nepi continues – based on multifunctional and adaptable facilities for different disciplines, which allow us to expand the sporting offer and generate important repercussions for tourism and the local economy. In this context, the Rome Grand Prix represents an appointment of absolute prestige, with hundreds of athletes from all over the world. However, alongside the great champions, I want to highlight the value of the Kim and Liù Tournament, the most important youth European event in the discipline, which will bring over 1,800 girls and boys to the Foro Italico. “It’s here that the future is built,” Nepi, CEO of Sport e Salute, concludes.
“A special thank you goes to FITA for the work it does not only in promoting competitive activity, but also on the social and humanitarian level.
