People who travel a lot have their systems—myself included. I didn’t realize just how good I was at the quick and thorough clearing-out of a hotel room until I vacationed with someone who wasn’t. (This person, to whom I happen be married, shall remain nameless.) He would fill a suitcase and bring it out to the car, while its intended contents languished on a table. He didn’t notice that one of our kids’ toys was with the takeout containers we needed to trash. We can do better than this! And I will show you how.
