The tree frogs love hanging out in their personal hot tub, otherwise known as my greenhouse rain barrel.

It's kept covered and the there's a hole for the downspout in the lid so the only way in or out is through the downspout. Somehow, they've figured it out because I've never found a dead one inside, but I don't know how they find their way back up the pipe.

A cute little #PacificChorusFrog aka #PacificTreeFrog.

They usually start their annual mating season in late November here & that goes on until early May. It's during those months that you'll hear the males singing their little froggy mating hearts out, the most.

These wee frogs have the ability to morph into different colours, depending on the environment they're in. This natural camouflaging ability helps them to hide from predators better.
