I'm not sure. They are recommended in #PROWAG, which does a great job in nearly every respect. But these steep, sharp, narrow curbs are dangerous AF if you're on a bike (and telling ppl to get off and walk their bike is ableist). www.access-board.gov/prowag/

I just walked along a long stretch of beautiful new sidewalk from a bus stop and encountered this. Shel Silverstein's book is always true-- Where the Sidewalk Ends. He just didn't complete it with the subtitle "With no Advance Warning Far Enough Ahead that You Could Have Crossed at the Roundabout by the Bus Stop to the Side with the Complete Sidewalk and Curb Ramps."

Does anyone know more about the status of #PROWAG? I saw that the Final Rule was issued, but MORPC planners told me today that the DOJ is still reviewing PROWAG and it's not yet enforceable?
