i dropped a super-tiny screw today (1mm x 1.5mm), onto a floor with heavily patterned tiles.
but, with the help of a little magnetic floor scanner, taped to the end of an unused brazen plinth, i was able to find it again.
Just got a message from the blood-bank that my blood was used for someone. First time I get this message.
I am an organ #donor as well since at least a decade. And blood donor I became when my father had to have a double operation in RO and we had to submit proof of 5 blood donations.
I still have to ingest 2 out of 3 blisters of iron pills that I was handed at the last donation. By the time I'm done with those they'll call me again.
Not pleasant but I do my duty.

Coming home last night I managed a 4 minute platform-to-platform transfer from #Eurostar to #SouthEastern at #StPancras (I might have ranโฆ) which got me home an hour earlier than planned.
Even managed to say a friendly "Hello" to the very bored looking customs people in the way out of Eurostar before legging it up the station.
